The DANiNJECT VHF Tracking Dart makes immobilization faster and safer.

With the VHF tracking dart wildlife professionals can now locate their animals quickly, even in heavily vegetated terrain. The super-light VHF transmitter (2.7 grams incl. battery) allows for precise and reliable immobilization, and with a range of 2000 m, you can confidently find the darted animal again using your preferred VHF receiver. For maximum accuracy, dart no further than 30 yards.

Technical specifications

Easy prepation. The VHF transmitter can easily be inserted into the dart. No additional equipment needed.
Customizable frequency range. Programmable within 140–160 MHz to match your preferred receiver setup and local frequency regulations.The transmitters are supplied in a range from 150.000MHZ to 150.800 MHZ
Outstanding range. Transmission range up to 2,000 meters, depending on receiver sensitivity and terrain.
Lightweight design. The transmitter and battery weighs only 2.7 grams, minimizing impact on dart performance and animal welfare.
Long battery life. Operates for 72 hours at full signal frequency, followed by 48 hours at reduced frequency to ensure continued location capability during extended field operations.
Rechargeable battery. Take out the battery after use and recharge it to use it over and over.
Fits with S300. Designed for DANiNJECT S300 (3.0 ml) darts, ensuring optimal flight dynamics and reliability.

If you have a DanInject projector with a 13mm barrel and want to use this transmitter, you can order the 11mm barrel to accommodate the DanInject 3cc reusable darts. The barrels are easily interchanged.

If you have another brand of co2 projector which uses a 13mm barrel, it is our understanding that other brands sell a 11mm sleeve which should allow you to use our DanInject 3cc reusable darts.

Advice for new users of TrackDart

Make sure you carry small tweezers to gently pull out the dart from the barrel if you need to reload, as the tail will be too deep in the barrel for you to reach it.
Make sure to create a new shooting chart because of the weight and deeper placement in the barrel.
Make sure to practice, both shooting and using the VHF receiver for tracking.
