Dan-Inject Dart Guns Will Attend The 43rd Annual AAZV Conference October 22 to 28, 2011

Dan-Inject Dart Guns will attend the 43rd Annual AAZV (American Association of Zoo Veterans) Conference being held October 22, 2011 through October 28, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri.

The exhibits are open the 26th and 27th. Dan-Inject Dart Guns booth number is 703. Please come by and visit!!!

We will again be sponsoring a darting competition this year. If weather permits, it is scheduled to take place at the Kansas City Zoo on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. The Kansas City Zoo is located in the heart of historic Swope Park at 6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64132.

The competitions are important because they help sponsor the International Conference Scholarship.

2011 AZA Annual Conference in Atlanta

Dan-Inject Dart Guns will be at the AZA Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. We will be in booth 628. It will be held at the Georgia Aquarium & Zoo, September 12 to September 17, 2011.

Dan-Inject Dart Guns Will Attend the TDA Convention August 11 - 13, 2011

Dan-Inject Dart Guns will be at the Texas Deer Association Convention, August 10 – 14, 2011.

Anyone and everyone who has anything to do with whitetail deer should attend the convention. This will be the 13th Annual Convention and Fundraiser. It will be held in San Antonio at the JW Marriott SA Hill Country Resort and Spa.

Along with all the booths, there will be seminars and auctions.

Dan-Inject Dart Guns Will Be At The Texas Bison Association Conference

Dan-Inject Dart Guns is proud to join with the Texas Bison Association (TBA) in preserving the legend of American buffalo!

The Annual Texas Bison Conference & Fund-Raising Auction will be held on May 6, 2011, through May 7, 2011, at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown in Austin, Texas. In keeping with Dan-Inject Dart Gun’s commitment to the humane use of immobilization equipment, we are donating a Jab Stick Package Deal at the conference.

According to the TBA:

Hosted during the official ‘Texas Bison Week,’ the event will attract bison producers and enthusiasts from around the country, and focus fund-raising efforts and media attention on the preservation and promotion of an American icon – the North American Bison.

The annual TBA convention features exhibitors from throughout the bison and agriculture industries, informative seminars on raising bison, and an industry panel discussion among some of the industry’s top bison experts. Mike Ross Will Speak At The TVMA Annual Conference March 4-6, 2011 being held at the Hilton Hotel in College Station, Texas.

Mike will speak on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 8AM until 12:30PM at the A & M Veterinary College.

His talk will explain how the use of dart guns can effectively be used to apply medication and vaccination remotely.
Some of the topics covered will be:

• Basic introduction to various types of dart guns CO2 versus .22cal
• Various methods of medication/vaccination application (vehicle/on foot/helicopter etc).
• Differences in applying vaccinations whether dealing with animals in captivity or the wild.
• Darting techniques.
• Correct needle / dart sizing for the particular application and species.

This session will also include a darting demonstration of where attendees will be able to use the equipment and receive advice and tips.

The Sixth Annual Zoological Association of America (ZAA) Conference is being held from November 10-13, 2010 in Lafayette, Louisiana.

ZAA’s Mission . . .
